ProFractional® Laser
Description
Sciton’s ProFractional® is an advanced laser treatment designed to dramatically improve skin tone, texture, and overall appearance by stimulating your body’s natural healing process. Using fractionated laser technology, ProFractional® creates microscopic channels in the skin while leaving surrounding tissue intact, allowing for faster healing and impressive results. This targeted approach encourages the production of new collagen, helping to reveal smoother, firmer, and more radiant skin over time.

FAQ
How many treatments are needed?
Often a single session provides noticeable improvement, though a short series (2–4 treatments spaced 2–6 weeks apart) may be recommended for deeper concerns.
Is it painful?
Topical anesthesia is applied before treatment; most patients describe moderate discomfort during the procedure and a mild sunburn sensation afterward
What kind of results can I expect?
Improved skin texture, reduced fine lines and scarring, evening of pigmentation, and an overall radiant complexion. Results build over time as new collagen forms
HALO vs ProFractional, which one?
Both lasers from Sciton deliver impressive skin rejuvenation but work in different ways. Halo combines ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to target surface damage and stimulate deep collagen in a single treatment, making it ideal for improving pigmentation, pore size, and overall glow with minimal downtime. ProFractional® uses a customizable erbium laser to penetrate deeper into the skin, making it better suited for significant texture issues, deeper wrinkles, and scarring, though it typically involves a few extra days of recovery. In short, Halo is perfect for broad rejuvenation and radiance, while ProFractional® is the go-to for deeper resurfacing and more targeted correction.
Can I return to normal activities after the treatment?
Absolutely. For the first 48 hours, you should keep your skin protected according to instructions, but after that you will be able to go about your normal activities. After the first 48 hours, your skin will begin to peel, and that may take up to 5-7 days depending upon your level of treatments, but you will be able to put on makeup.
