Rosacea Treatment

We’re pleased to offer several options for effective rosacea treatment. The right treatment plan for you will be determined at your consultation based on your symptoms, skin sensitivity and goals. In general, laser treatments address rosacea symptoms using pulses of consistent, sustained energy to focus heated rays under the skin’s surface, effectively destroying the blood vessels that cause visible symptoms. The results may include reduced redness, smoother skin and improved appearance.

Please avoid excessive sun exposure or fake tanning for two to four weeks prior.

Please advise your clinician if you are currently undergoing, or have undergone, Accutane treatment or treatments with drugs in a similar class within the last six months, or if you are undergoing gold therapy.

You’ll want to avoid sun exposure following treatment and use a high SPF sunscreen to protect your skin as it may be more sensitive. We’ll recommend gentle products for sensitive skin following all facial laser treatments. You’ll want to avoid typical rosacea triggers like hot saunas, shower, and spas even more directly following treatment as your skin is restored.
