A chemical peel at Raw Canvas is never one-size-fits-all. Every peel is a custom blend of medical-grade acids and actives, chosen for your skin, your concerns and the downtime that fits your life.
We offer seven levels, from a gentle refresh to deep resurfacing. Your provider assesses your skin, recommends the level that will move it forward safely, and builds your series around your goals.
Peels can refine texture, soften fine lines, clear congestion and acne, and fade pigmentation and scarring.

What It Treats
Every peel begins with a double cleanse. As the peel is applied, you may feel tingling or warmth. Your provider monitors your skin throughout and adjusts as needed.
Peels start at $150. Your provider will recommend the right level for your skin at your appointment.
Level 1
Our gentlest peel, for a subtle refresh with minimal downtime. A good starting point if you are new to peels or preparing for an event.
Level 2
A step up in strength to encourage skin renewal and a more even appearance, without the downtime of deeper peels.
Level 3
A stronger blend of acids to refine texture and tone. Best for skin already prepared with peels or active skincare. Expect a few days of downtime.
Level 4
Works deeper in the skin to target specific concerns such as pigmentation, congestion and texture. Expect a period of downtime as your skin renews.
Level 5
Deeper correction for pigmentation, texture and early signs of aging. Expect visible peeling or flaking for about 7–10 days.
Level 6
A highly concentrated peel for advanced correction of pigmentation, texture and signs of aging. Expect peeling for about 7–10 days.
Level 7
Our deepest resurfacing peel, for significant correction of stubborn pigmentation, advanced signs of aging and texture. Expect peeling for about 7–10 days, revealing visibly smoother, firmer and more even skin as it heals.

Each peel we offer has a unique chemical compound specific to the treatment you’ve chosen with focused results. Our peels help accelerate cell turnover, stimulate collagen production, and more.
Pre Treatment
If you are new to this treatment, please book a "Spot Treatment" at least 24 hours before your appointment (72 hours for skin type 5). We will spot test to ensure you do not negatively react.
Avoid the following 3-5 days before treatment: laser hair removal, waxing, electrolysis, retinol or retinoid creams, products containing salicylic acid, alpha hydroxy acids, benzoyl peroxide, and exfoliants that may be drying or irritating. Not recommended for patients who have used accutane within the past year.
May not be recommended for patients with a history of: herpes, active cold sores, warts, rosacea, skin allergies or rashes, allergy to asprin, vitiligo, or automoimmune disease. Cannot be performed on patients pregnant or breastfeeding.
Post Treatment
AVOID
- Sun exposure
- Exercise for 24-72 hrs post peel
- Steam and hot water
- Waxing and the use of depilatories fo 3-5 days post peel
- Laser treatments and microdermabrasion for 2 weeks post peel
- Swimming and sauna use for at least 7 days post peel
- Picking at any flaking or sloughing, as this may cause scarring
EXPECT
- Skin to feel tight and minor irritation that last 24 hours
- Appear red, similar to look of a sunburn
- Skin sloughing may occur between day 3-6 and can last up to 2 weeks
- With deeper chemical peel expected a frosted white colour for the first hours, then gradually turn pink, then eventually red
- Notify us of any concerns (blistering, excessive redness/swelling, etc.)

How long does a treatment last?
Treatment takes 15 to 30 minutes, depending on your peel.
What can I expect after my treatment?
You’ll experience some redness and peeling in the days following your treatment. As your skin will temporarily be more sensitive, you should be extra careful to avoid unprotected sun exposure and we always recommend wearing a daily mineral sunscreen.
