Bruising Treatments
Description
Bruises from an injury or procedure can take two weeks or longer to fade. If you've just had a cosmetic injectable treatment, visible bruising can make returning to work or social plans feel stressful. Laser bruise reduction can help bruises fade sooner, so you can get back to the things you love.

What It Treats
Laser treatment with the excel® V+ from CUTERA can effectively treat a wide range of bruises, including surgical bruising, injectable bruising, and trauma bruising.
How It Works
The Cutera excel V+ uses the 532 nm wavelength to target the pooled blood in a bruise, helping it fade sooner. Book once the bruise has settled and before it turns yellow, usually 18 to 24 hours after an injectable treatment or 24 to 36 hours after an injury.
Pre Treatment
The treatment may feel like a small rubber band snapping against the skin. Treatments are quick, and we do everything we can to keep you comfortable. If you are new to laser treatment, a Spot Treatment is recommended at least 24 hours before your appointment (72 hours for skin types 4 to 6).
Post Treatment
After treatment, avoid heat (hot tubs, saunas and hot yoga) for 1 to 2 days and wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily. Contact the clinic with any concerns.
