Application
Recommended Dose: Adults 18 years and older: Take 2 capsules three times per day with a meal, or as directed by your health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks. Use for a minimum of 2 weeks to see beneficial effects. To minimize the risk of gastrointestinal side effects, start at a lower dose and slowly increase to the effective dose over a 2-week period.
Risk Information: Do not use if you have scleroderma, or if you are taking antidepressants. Ask a health care practitioner before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have a psychological disorder such as anxiety or depression, if you are following a low protein diet, if you are taking carbidopa or health products with serotonergic activity such as mood balance supplements, cough medication containing dextromethorphan, pain killers or medications for nausea or migraine. Ask a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia) or if symptoms persist or worsen. Avoid taking with alcohol. When using this product you may experience gastrointestinal discomfort; exercise caution while driving or using machinery as you may experience drowsiness. Stop use and ask a health care practitioner if you experience skin hardening, pain or stiffness of muscles or joints, tremors, agitation/confusion, or an increased heart rate.
