FAQ
How many treatments are needed?
Often a single treatment provides noticeable improvement, and a series may be recommended depending on your concern. Your provider will build your plan at consultation.
Is it painful?
Topical anesthesia is applied before treatment; most patients describe moderate discomfort during the procedure and a mild sunburn sensation afterward
What kind of results can I expect?
Improved skin texture, reduced fine lines and scarring, evening of pigmentation, and an overall clearer, more refined complexion. Results build over time as new collagen forms
HALO vs ProFractional, which one?
Both are Sciton lasers that renew the skin in different ways. HALO is often chosen for tone, pigmentation and pore size, with minimal downtime. ProFractional® is often chosen for texture, fine lines and scarring, and typically involves a few extra days of recovery. Your provider will recommend the right one for your skin at consultation.
Can I return to normal activities after the treatment?
Absolutely. For the first 48 hours, you should keep your skin protected according to instructions, but after that you will be able to go about your normal activities. After the first 48 hours, your skin will begin to peel, and that may take up to 5-7 days depending on your treatment, but you will be able to put on makeup.
