Description
SkinTyte is a noninvasive skin-tightening treatment. It uses pulses of infrared-light technology to heat deep dermal layers, which contracts existing collagen and accelerates new collagen production. The heat from the BBL causes the collagen and elastic fibres to shrink and tighten, all while stimulating the remodeling of the collagen. It’s frequently used on the face, neck, abdomen, arms, and thighs, but it works on any area of sagging skin. While the applicator delivers heat, its cooling tip keeps the skin’s surface from getting too warm.

What It Treats

Pre Treatment
We’ll first clean the area of skin that we will be treating. Gel will be applied to the area.
Post Treatment
AVOID
- Use of topical skin care products containing retin-A, retinol, glycolic acid, or salicylic acid for 1 week
- Prolonged sun exposure is to be avoided for 4 weeks after treatment
EXPECT
- Intense burning, redness, warmth, and a sunburned sensation are normal responses following BBL treatments
- The discomfort and redness generally last 2-4 hours after the procedure
- Some patients will wake up with facial swelling, particularly around the eyes for several days following the treatment. This is normal and usually resolves within 3-5 days.
